Equip a bow by clicking it in your pack. While a bow is in your hand, clicking a creature shoots it instead of walking up to it.

You need a clear line: trees, buildings and people block a shot, water doesn't. The game walks you to the nearest spot within 6 tiles that has one. A shot every 4 ticks (2.4 s), and every shot at a creature uses an arrow, hit or miss.

Arrows

Arrows live in your quiver, not your pack. Tok Ali gives you 25 to start and 30 when you finish his lesson. Make ten at a time at the boatyard from 1 × timber and 1 × coconut fibre (Woodwork 2), or buy ten from Kak Yah for RM 3.

The practice range

Tok Ali's range on Perhentian has three straw targets. Stand three to six tiles back and click one. Practice arrows are free.
