Skills
Combat Silat
Click a creature to fight it. Blows land every four ticks; what you train depends on the focus you pick in the Gear tab.
Training focus
In the Gear tab you choose what your blows train. The choice changes the XP, not the blow.
| Focus | Trains | Which gives you |
|---|---|---|
| Attack | Attack | Accuracy |
| Strength | Strength | Max hit |
| Defence | Defence | Dodging |
Your blows
Next to a creature you strike every 4 ticks (2.4 s).
| Weapon | Max hit | Needs | How to get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Staff Toya | +1 | Attack 1 | Guru gives you one; boatyard: 2 × timber |
| Machete Parang | +2 | Attack 5 | Pak Leh sells it for RM 25. Wield it and it still works as a tool. Planned · Tools II |
Their bites
Creatures don't start fights; they fight back. Once you hit one, it comes for you and bites every 4 ticks while it is next to you.
Armour is everything you wear added up, plus one from Abang Zul's lesson. The Gear tab shows your armour and your dodge chance. Gear lists what gives armour.
The chase
A creature you have provoked follows you, but only so far from its home spot: its leash (crab 9, monitor lizard 10, macaque 12 tiles). Run past it and the creature gives up, walks home, and heals on the way. Leave the zone and it is home when you come back. Get knocked out and every creature after you gives up.
The training post
Guru's straw post near the spawn on Perhentian never hits back. A strike every 4 ticks, 85% of them land for 1 to your max hit, and each point is worth 2 XP to your focus. Ten strikes are part of Castaway's Training.
Sparring with Abang Zul
Click Abang Zul once his lesson has started to spar. Every 4 ticks he swings his rattan at you:
Dodge eight and his lesson gives you +1 armour for good. Sparring is the safest Defence training in the game.
